AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, CITY OF ST. ANTHONY AND TEAMSTERS LOCAL 320 <br /> Dated January 22, 1985 <br /> It is agreed between the parties to amend the above contract in the following <br /> respects for the purposes of adjusting the effects of the application of the <br /> Federal Fair Labor Standards Act; i .e. , as the same relates to the payment of <br /> overtime over an average fifty-three (_53) hour week and yet maintaining the <br /> existing $2,232.00 per month top;,firefighter's salary. <br /> 1 . Page 12, Article XXIV. Amend by deleting "fifty-six (56) " and inserting in <br /> lieu thereof "fi_ftY-three (53)" . <br /> 2. Amend Article XII, Salaries (Monthly) , by ;replacing the _existing language <br /> with the following: <br /> The work schedule for all positions covered by this agreement shall average <br /> fifty-six hours per week, three hours of which is compensated at one and one-half <br /> (_1-1/2) times the hourly rate in accordance with the Federal Fair Labor <br /> Standards Act. Based upon the foregoing, monthly salary for firefighter and <br /> capta Wshall be as follows: <br /> Firefighter 1985 Hourly Rate <br /> • After three years $2,232 (.100%) $8.96 <br /> After two years $2,176 (.97.5%) $8.74 <br /> After one year $2,120 (,95%) $8.51 <br /> After six months $2,065 (.92.5%) $8.29 <br /> Start $2,009. (.90%) $8.06 <br /> Captain $2,332 $9.36 <br /> Firefighters working out of classification (Captain) will receive Five <br /> Dollars ($5.00) additional per shift where such out of classification duties <br /> exceed eight hours of a shift.
