JOYNES, CHAIRMAN MAMA GENERAL LABOR RELATIONS COMMITTEE DATE: JANUARY 31 , 1986 SUBJECT : LABOR RELATIONS SUBSCRIBER SERVICE The MAMA Committee on Labor Relations Subscriber Service Contracts recently renegotiated the agreement between the League of Minnesota Cities and Labor Relations Associates , Inc. for special subscriber services. As a result of those negotiations, the fee schedule will be increased for 1986-1987, by four percent as follows : Population Category 1985-1986 Fee 1986-1987 Fee Under 5 ,000 $ 770 $ 801 5 ,000 - .9,999 1 , 165 1 ,212 10 ,000 - 14 ,999 1 ,640 1 ,706 15 ,000 - 19 ,999 2 , 175 2 ,262 20,000 - 29,999 2,800 2 ,912 Over 30 ,000 3 ,500 3 ,640 • Invoices and copies of the 1986-1987 agreement are being sent to all cities currently using the special subscriber services. Those MAMA cities not using the special subscriber services will receive a copy of this letter and copies of the 1986-1987 agreement . If a non-subscribing city wishes to use the special subscriber services, they may do so by remitting the appropriate fee to the League of Minnesota Cities, Labor. Relations Subscriber Service. Population is based upon most recent Metropolitan Council population estimates. Remittance of the special subscriber fee should be forwarded to the League of Minnesota Cities by no later than March 1 , 1986. Services provided by the Labor Relations Subscriber Service include : 1 . General Membership Services This agreement provides for two types of labor relations services. The first is "general membership services" for cities that are members of the League of Minnesota Cities and Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. Each of these organizations contribute an amount to the labor services fund on behalf of their respective membership. The "general membership services" part of the agreement provides for :
