1 <br /> -2- <br /> The City intends to advertise and feels that improving the center will mean <br /> • increased usage. <br /> All project reports and evaluations will be done by the Public Works Director <br /> and kept on file in his office at the City Hall . <br /> The project will not require any permits nor the Environmental Assessment Statement. <br /> We will advertise the recycling center through the City's cable T.V. channel (10) , <br /> the local newspaper, the City Newsletter, and the Metropolitan Council . <br /> The following. personnel are employed by the City of St. Anthony and are well <br /> qualified to perform the duties listed: <br /> Larry Hamer, Director of Public Works, administrative duties. <br /> Harry Werlein, light equipment operator, maintenance of the center and <br /> will assist in laying the asphalt. <br /> Clayton Olson, carpenter, will assist in laying the asphalt. <br /> Dick Kristyniak, will assist in laying the asphalt. <br /> Jack Haley, will assist in laying the asphalt. <br /> The recycling center will be managed and maintained by the City's Public Works <br /> personnel . <br /> • Project Finances <br /> Budget Items Total Cost Local Match -In-Kind Grant Request <br /> Salaries & Fringe Benefits $2,908 $2,181 $ 727 <br /> Direct Project costs 7,548 5,661 1 ,887 <br /> Equipment & Machinery 400 300 100 <br /> TOTAL $10,856 $8,142 (75%) $2,714 (25%) <br /> The City will use moneys from account no. 101-4200-226 to finance the City's <br /> portion of the project. The project will continue to be financed by City funds <br /> after grant funds are used. <br /> As previously stated, the center is utilized by several other cities' residents <br /> and we feel it would be fair to be able to use money from other sources to enhance, <br /> expand, and improve the center. <br />
