II . N.1innesota Olympic Facility Study Team <br /> A. ORGANIZATION <br /> The Anoka County Board of Commissioners and the Blaine <br /> City Council approved the formation of the Minnesota Olympic <br /> Facility Study Team <br /> The County Board authorized an expenditure of $20,000 and <br /> the Blaine City Council authorized and expenditure of $40, 000 <br /> for the initial funding in order to get the project started. <br /> The Minnesota Olympic Facility Study Team consists of <br /> State Senators, State Representatives, County Commissioners, <br /> Mayors, Met Council representative, and others. <br /> B. WHAT ARE THE PROJECT NEEDS? <br /> • The follpWing items have been identified as necessary <br /> components to the successful development, presentation, and <br /> passage of the Governor' s Proposal: <br /> Site analysis, state environmental assessment <br /> worksheet, federal environmental impact analysis, <br /> economic impact analysis, site design analysis, <br /> construction model with facility identification, <br /> project management, policy impact analysis, <br /> support group package, facility cost estimate, <br /> possible lobbying efforts, P.R. firm package, <br /> and finalization of the project. <br /> C.
