RESOLUTION 89-005 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR JOINING THE <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> CONSORTIUM <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has a strong interest in the <br /> economic health of both the community and the region; and <br /> WHEREAS, a group known as the Hennepin County Economic <br /> Development Consortium has been formed and has identified <br /> significant economic development needs and opportunities which <br /> can be best addressed through cooperation among the Chambers and <br /> local governments of the area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Consortium has developed a mission statement and <br /> goals for achieving more effective and better coordinated <br /> economic development. programs. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> St. Anthony: <br /> That the City of St. Anthony endorses the economic <br /> .� development mission and goals identified by the Consortium <br /> and by so doing becomes a member, agreeing to work on <br /> cooperative efforts with the Consortium and other business, <br /> government and community organizations to accomplish these- <br /> goals. -r <br /> Adopted this a day of r) ri 0 r./ 1989. <br /> Maor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Cler <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
