• <br /> RESOLUTION 89-015 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF CLARENCE J. RANALLO <br /> AS A CANDIDATE FOR VICE PRESIDENT OF THE <br /> LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES <br /> WHEREAS, Clarence J. Ranallo has given many years of service to St . <br /> Anthony Village as a City Councilmember since 1977 , Mayor Pro Tem <br /> (elected by his fellow Councilmembers ) , a member of the Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority, Human Rights Commission, the BiCentennial <br /> Committee, and a Charter Member of the- VillageFest Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, Councilmember Ranallo has also served the League of <br /> Minnesota Cities as a member of the Board of Directors , Federal and <br /> State Legislative Committee, was Budget Committee Chairperson, was <br /> also a member of the Revision of By-Laws and Mission Statement <br /> Committee, Personnel Committee, Conference Planning Committee (and <br /> also served as Chairperson on that Committee) , and served as a <br /> • Narrator at the League of Minnesota Conference; and <br /> WHEREAS , Councilmember Ranallo has served on the National League <br /> of Cities and on the Human Development Steering Committee, the <br /> Human Development Committee in addition to narrating the Human <br /> Development Conference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St . Anthony feels that <br /> Clarence J. Ranallo would be invaluable as Vice President of the <br /> League of Minnesota Cities in providing stability, sound judgment <br /> and unbiased perspective. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br /> of St . Anthony hereby strongly supports the candidacy of Clarence <br /> J.
