CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> WORK.. SESSION <br /> .March 25, 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6 : 50 p.m. by Mayor Haik. <br /> Present: Haik, Letourneau, Ranallo, Sundland, and Marks. <br /> Also present-: Fornell, City Manager; and Johnson, Clerk-.Treasurer. <br /> The Manager explained developments concerning negotiation 'of the <br /> police department contract and that his offer of -February had been <br /> rejected by the unit. He contrasted his assessment of the units <br /> position compared to other metropolitan departments <br /> Strong sentiment was expressed .about the need to conform to the <br /> wage-price guidelines by Council members. Concern was also- expressed. <br /> about the City ' s ability to pay more in view of levy restrictions <br /> and the possible loss of General Revenue -Sh-aring.
