APACHE PLAZA DISCOUNT STORE <br /> THE COMMISSION MET WITH THE APACHE REPNESEPITAT!VES, .JOHN NELSON, WILLIAM BURNS, <br /> AND GENE HICKEY, AND REVIEWED THE FINAL PLANS OF THE PROPOSED DISCOUNT HOUSE. <br /> THE RECOMMENDATIONS MADE BY THE COMMISSION ON MARCH 26, 1962 AS TO INSTALLATION <br /> OF CONCRETE ACCESS ROADS AND CURBS TO CONFORM WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF 39TH <br /> AVENUE N.E. WILL NOW BE A PART OF THIS DEVELOPMENT. <br /> ALL FOUR SIDES OF THE BUILDING WILL BE OF THE SAME BRICK MATERIAL WITH THE <br /> CONTINUATION OF LANDSCAPING AS IN THE PRESENT APACHE PLAZA. <br /> THE COMMISSION ALSO DISCUSSED WITH THE APACHE REPRESENTATIVE THE VARIOUS PROBLEMS <br /> RELATING TO THE PRESENT LIGHTING SITUATION IN THE APACHE PLAZA PARKING LOT. <br /> IT WAS AGREED BY APACHE THAT IMMEDIATE STUDIES AND ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN TO <br /> ELIMINATE THE UNNECESSARY GLARE OF THESE LIGHTS THRU ADJUSTMENT AND/OR BY <br /> IMPROVISING A METAL SKIRT OR COVER. THEY WILL ALSO SEE TO IT THAT THE LIGHTS <br /> WILL BURN WITHIN REASONABLE HOURS. AFTER 9:30 P.M. THE ONLY LIGHTS THAT WILL BE <br /> LEFT BURNING WILL BE FOR THE BOWLING ALLEY EXCEPT ON SPECIAL OCCASIGNS. <br /> NORM CAVANAUGH MOVED THAT THE PLANS FOR THE DISCOUNT HOUSE BE APPROVED AS SUB- <br /> MITTED. THE MOTION WAS SECONDED BY A. SKOVRAN. THE MOTION WAS PASSED BY <br /> UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. <br /> 2, ARO BUILDING- ST. ANTHONY INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> REVISED PLANS WERE SUBMITTED BY MR. ARO FOR A BUILDING TO BE BUILT ON LOT 2, <br /> BLOCK 2, OF ST. ANTHONY INDUSTRIAL PARK. PARKING ARRANGEMENTS, BUILDING SET-BACK <br /> FROM THE WEST LOT LINE, AND DRIVEWAY WIDTHS WERL REVISED IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br /> PLANNING BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS. <br /> A. SKOVRAN MOVED THAT THE PLANS AS SHOWN ON REVISION DATED APRIL 4, 1962 BE <br /> RECOMMENDED TO THE COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL. THE MOTION WAS SECONDED BY N. CAVANAUGH* <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> THE REVISED PLANS SHOULD BE CORRECTED ON THE SURVEY PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF A <br /> BUILDING PERMIT. <br /> r <br />
