PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 17, 1962 <br /> • THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 8900 OICLOCK P.M. <br /> PRESENT: ROSINEK, DOUGHERTY, CAVANAGH, SKOVRAN <br /> ABSENT: ROCKS <br /> 1 . A PROPOSED MULTIPLE DWELLING PROJECT AT 33RD AVE. N.E. AND HIGHWAY :8 WAS <br /> PRESENTED. THE LOT AREA DID NOT MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, BUT IF LAND <br /> NOW HELD BY THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT IS RELEASED, WALBONS WILL PURCHASE <br /> IT. THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO GET THE HIGHWAY DEPT. TO COMMIT THEMSELVES IN <br /> WRITING THAT THE LAND WILL NOT BE USED. WILL ALSO CONTACT ADJACENT PROPERTY <br /> OWNERS TO DETERMINE THEIR POSSIBLE OBJECTIONS. <br /> 2. MRS. RATLIFF APPEARED IN REGARD TO PLANS FOR A MULTIPLE DWELLING AT 37TH AVE. <br /> N.E. AND EDWARDS. IT WOULD HAVE 9 UNITS, 12 STORIES ON LOT SIZE 126 X 236 <br /> 29,736 SQ. FT. SHE WILL TALK TO PROPERTY OWNERS IN THE VICINITY AND COME <br /> BACK AT A LATER DATE. <br /> 3. ARVID CARLSON WHO WAS TO DISCUSS INDUSTRIAL PARK PROPERTY DID NOT APPEAR. <br /> 4. THERE WAS A PETITION FROM PROPERTY OWNERS AND A RESOLUTION FROM THE VILLAGE <br /> COUNCIL REQUESTING THE PLANNING BOARD TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE RE- <br /> ZONING OF THE AREA BETWEEN THE S00 LINE RAILROAD TRACKS AND 37TH AVE. N.E. <br /> EAST OF SILVER LAKE RD. TO HIGHCREST RD. <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> RESOLVED BY TRUSTEE ZAHHOS SECONDED BY CLERK O'CONNOR TO DIRECT THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION TO ORDER A PUBLIC HEARING AT THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF <br /> SEPT. 17, 1962 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REZONING THE AREA LYING EAST OF SILVER LAKE <br /> ROAD TO HIGHCREST ROAD AND FROM THE Soo LINE RR TRACKS ON THE NORTH TO .37TH AVE. <br /> N.E.
