PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> NOVEMBER 11, 1963 <br /> The special meeting of the fit. An-hony Village Planning Board was called <br /> to order at 7: 30 P.M. on Monday, November 11,.1963• <br /> Present: Dougherty, Rosinek, DiCarlo, Hensen <br /> Absent: Rocks, Coulter, Skovran <br /> Mr. Thuftedal and Mr. Nordstrom appeared regarding rezoning lots 1,2, and 3 <br /> Block 7, Mounds View.Acres Second Addition from R-2 two 4aimily classification <br /> to MO Multiple Dwelling .classification. <br /> The discussion following the presentation by the developers revealed the need <br /> foe a two-febily buffer zone along the south side of 39th.Ave. N. E. <br /> The developers -informed the Board of the results of a .meeting held between them b <br /> selves and the area residents at which this two-family buffer was discussed. <br /> It was then moved by DeCarlo seconded by Hansen that Lot 1, eicluding� the <br /> N 120 ft. and all :of lots 3 and 4, Block7, MoundsView Acnes, Second Addition, <br /> be rezoned to a multiple dwelling classification providing the developers submit <br /> a performance bond stating that construction of a double {�ungalow on the E. 100 <br /> • ft. of the W. 199 ft.. of said lot 1 be accomplished simultaneously with the <br /> construction of any apartment building. <br /> The motion was introduced on the following basis: <br /> 1. A public hearing was advertised and duly on MARCH 4, 1963• <br /> 2.A meeting between the area residents and the developers showed that the <br /> majority of the residents in the area have no objection to the zoning as outlined <br /> above. <br /> 3. The proposed two-family buffer would definitely define the boundaries <br /> of the residential area north of 39th Avenue and E. of Silver Lake Road. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Dougherty, Rosinek, Hansen, Di Carlo <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent: Racks, Skovran, Coulter <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Recommended Council Action: <br /> :Prepare an amendment to the zoning Ordinance # 66, re-zoning the <br /> area .'n question as outlined in the foregoing motion. <br /> • Stanley A Peickert <br /> Secretary <br />
