Central might consider as a model <br /> the several new signs in the office park. <br /> Action on the Commission ' s motion of recommendation- regarding the. <br /> Central request , was . deferred until after the scheduled public hearing . <br /> was held. <br /> The public hearing on the proposed amendment to the• Blanske Addition <br /> plat for- the property bound by Silver Lake Road, Silver Lane and Pen- <br /> rod Lane was opened at 8:05 P.M. by the Chairman who read the notice <br /> of the -hearing which had gone out to all the affected property <br /> owners in the area, as listed in the agenda.. <br /> Bernard' Blanske, 3829 Foss Road, owner of the property, was present <br /> to explain that, to sell the existing house. on the property in <br /> question, it will be necessary for the subdivision- of . Lot 1 of the <br /> plat into.-Parcels A and B. As he had explained in his September <br /> 12th memorandum, Mr. Berg reiterated the hearing was required by <br /> • ordinance for an amendment of an existing plat as is required for <br /> consideration .of a new plat. Therefore, since the staff considered <br /> the action as procedur.eal, it recommends approval. He reported the <br /> subdivision had been reviewed by the City Attorney and told Mrs. <br /> Makowske adequate side yard setbacks will be maintained. No other <br /> persons were present to speak for or against the proposal and the <br /> public hearing was closed at 8 :12 P.M. <br /> Motion by Mr. Bowerman and seconded by Mr. Jones, .to recommend Council <br /> approval for the subdivision of the existing plat for. the Blanske <br /> property presently described as Lots 1, 2 and 3 , Block 1, Blanske <br /> Addition which will divide existing Lot 1 of the plat. into Parcel <br /> "A" described as Lot 1, Block 1, Blanske Addition, except the East <br /> 137. 80 feet of that part of said Lot 1, lying North of the North <br /> line of Lot 2 , and its extension West and Parcel "B" described as <br /> the East. 137.80 feet of that part of Lot 1, lying North of the North <br /> line of Lot 2 and its extension West, Block 1, Blanske Addition, <br /> finding that this action continues previous City discussions regarding <br /> developing buildable sites for the properties to the south. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> At 8 :20 P.M. Chairman Bjorklund opened .the public hearing to con- <br /> sider an ordinance amendment prepared by the .City Attorney at the <br /> direction of the Council to better define and permit the use of a <br /> caretakers residence in a mini-warehouse facility such as was approved <br /> • for the property on Foss Road owned by Bernard Blanske. <br />
