London arrived at 7: 33 P.M. <br /> & Also present: David Childs, City Manager <br /> 7 Sue VanderHeyden, Assistant to the City Manager <br /> 8 DECEMBER 20, 1988 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> 9 Motion by Hansen, seconded by Brownell to approve the above with the <br /> 10 following changes: <br /> 11 Page 5, line 2: Delete one "and" after "month" . <br /> 12 Page 5, line 13 : Substitute 116" for 114" before "inch" . <br /> 13 Page 6, line 32: Substitute "Overlook" for "Overload" . <br /> Page 7, line 20: Correct typo "no" before "state rules" . <br /> Page 7, line 30: Substitute "trainees" for "massagers" . <br /> 16 Page 8, line 43 : Make "treatment" singular. <br /> 17 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 COMMISSIONER MADDEN TO REPRESENT PLANNING COMMISSION AT JANUARY 24TH <br /> 19 COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 20 PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 21 Conditional Use Permit Recommended for Slick's Alternative at 2450 - <br /> 22 38th Avenue N.E. <br /> 23 At 7.:40 P.M. Chair Wagner read aloud the Notice of Hearing to consider <br /> 24 a request from Diane and Robert :Slick for a conditional use permit to <br /> 25 allow operation of the Alternative, a non-alcoholic lounge at the above <br /> 26 address in the space located immediately west of the Salvation Army <br /> 27 Thrift Store as provided in a "C" Commercial zoning classification. <br /> 28 The Notice of Hearing had been published in the January 4th Bulletin and <br /> 29 mailed to all property owners of record within 350 feet of the subject <br /> 30 property.
