Acting City <br /> Manager VanderHeyden responded that the store owner was <br /> unsure about his future course of action and had decided to <br /> wait to return to the Commission until August . Chair Madden <br /> referred to statements made by Joseph DiSanto of Victoria <br /> Management indicating that , if tenants so lobbied, the sign <br /> band could be wrapped around the -side of the building to <br /> a-llow _signage. on the side of the building. Chair Madden <br /> noted that Nationwide Sewing and Vacuum is in a very visible <br /> location and that the side of the building is a very <br /> desirable location for a sign. Commissioner Wagner indicated <br /> that his impression of the feeling of the Council was that <br /> Council members would not look favorably on. Nationwide Sewing <br /> and Vacuum erecting its old sign on the side of the building. <br /> Acting City Manager VanderHeyden noted that the Chamber of <br /> . Commerce had appointed a special committee to study the sign <br /> ordinance and make recommendations to the City. She <br /> commented that the Chamber had invited a member of the <br /> Planning Commission to join the committee.
