1 PLANItIING COMMISSION <br /> JUNE 16 , 1992 <br /> PAGE 9 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Chairman Faust stated he is willing to approach the City <br /> 8 Council to find out what would be expected to be discussed at <br /> 9 this joint meeting . <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Commissioner Murphy felt strategic and future community <br /> 12 directions should be addresssed as well as general <br /> 13 philosophical purposes . Commissioner Gondorchin suggested that <br /> 14 an evaluation and assessment of how the Planning Commission is <br /> 15 functioning should also be considered . Commissioner Murphy <br /> 16 felt a partnership posture may be an item for discussion also. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 B. July Meeting <br /> 20 <br /> 21 The July meeting of the Planning Commission will be held as <br /> 22 scheduled. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 7 . COMMISSIONERS ' COMMENTS <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Commissioner Madden <br /> 0 Commissioner Madden inquired if the contract for the inlet in <br /> 30 Mirror Lake permitted seeding and not sodding. He felt the <br /> 31 seeding job was very poorly done . Urbia will follow up on this <br /> 32 matter . <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Commissioner Madden has observed that Sheik ' s Garden <br /> 35 Restaurant at Apache Plaza Shopping Center appears to be <br /> 36 closed . <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Commissioner Madden noted that there is a non-conforming sign <br /> 39 at the Stop-N-Shop service station on Stinson Boulevard. Urbia <br /> 40 said he will contact Conoco regarding the non-conforming <br /> 41 canopy sign . <br /> 42 <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Commissioner Thompson <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Commissioner Thompson inquired as to the status of a CUB store <br /> 47 being built at Apache Plaza.
