Urbia advised that the present survey addresses <br /> 11 community needs and another survey will be done in March . He <br /> 12 also suggested that a work session be held by the Planning <br /> 13 Commission to hammer out definitions . <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Commissioner Gondochin noted he had participated in the phone <br /> 16 survey and felt it was difficult to respond thoroughly with <br /> 17 this format . <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Urbia advised the Planning Commission that the property owner <br /> 20 of the parcel located on the southeast corner of 37th Avenue <br /> 21 and Silver Lake Road is interested in building a six foot <br /> 22 fence along 37th Avenue. He inquired what position the <br /> 23 Commission members may have on this request . <br /> 24 <br /> 25 It was noted that the house is for sale. Commissioner Thompson <br /> 26 felt the house should never have been built there but rather <br /> 27 a right hand turn lane should have been installed. <br /> Commissioner Madden suggested the hill should be cut down for <br /> visibility . The majority of the Planning Commission members <br /> 30 were opposed to this fence being built . <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Chairperson Faust acknowledged Rosemary Franzese' s election to <br /> 33 the Hennepin County Park Board and congratulated her. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 8 . COMMISSIONER' S COMMENTS <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Commissioner Madden inquired as .to the status of the CUB Food <br /> 38 Store project at Apache Plaza . Urbia responded that it is <br /> 39 moving along. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Commissioner Murphy requested current information regarding <br /> 42 the Athletic Sports Boosters offer for renovation of Central <br /> 43 Park. Commissioner Gondorchin advised that the School Board <br /> 44 will be receiving the funds and can make changes later. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Commissioner Murphy inquired as to the status of the Housing <br /> 47 Maintenance Code. Urbia responded that it was passed and there <br /> 48 was only one problem, that being with the section on <br /> 49 composting . <br /> 50 <br />
