1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES 3 MAY 19, 1998 4 I. CALL TO ORDERIPLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 5 The meeting was called to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chair Bergstrom at 6 7:00 P.M. 7 II. ROLL CALL. 8 Commissioners present: Chair Bergstrom; Commissioners Gondorchin, Horst, Kaczor, and 9 Thompson. 10 Commissioners absent: Commissioner Delmonico and Makowske. 11 Also present: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant. 12 III. APPROVAL OF MAY 19, 1998 PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA. 13 Motion by Commissioner Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Kaczor, to approve the 14 Planning Commission Agenda for May 19, 1998 as presented. 15 Motion carried unanimously. IV. APPROVAL OF THE APRIL 21, 1998 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. 18 Motion by Commissioner Horst, seconded by Chair Bergstrom,to approve the April 21, 1998 19 Planning Commission Meeting minutes as presented. 20 Motion carried unanimously. 21 V. DESIGNATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO THE CITY 22 COUNCIL. 23 Commissioner Kaczor was appointed as the Planning Commission representative for the 24 Tuesday, May 26, 1998,City Council meeting. 25 VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS. 26 A. 98-07 Malenick- Sideyard Variance Request for 3613 Edward Street NE, John Malenick, 27 Buyer. 28 Chair Bergstrom opened the public hearing at 7:03 p.m. 29 Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Mr. and Mrs. John Malenick.recently purchased 3613 Edward 30 Street NE from John and Liesha Ingdahl. Mr. and Mrs. Ingdahl had come before the Planning 31 Commission on May 20, 1997 and requested a lot width variance for this parcel so they could 32 build a home. The recommendation to approve the lot width variance was submitted to the City Council and was granted at a subsequent meeting. Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Ingdahl have decided not to build and put the lot up for sale.
