Mr. Krier agreed to negotiate with the redevelopers. an .. <br /> ---alternative• plan for. minimizing the-effect- of wind and rain on..'.the <br /> parking areas-during the winter and to ascertain whether the increases <br /> in unit costs if the enclosed parking -.were provided as quoted by the <br /> — <br /> ..'architect, been _realistic;. The consultant :said all .these.:detai.ls' . <br /> would be worked out .before a final plan for .the project wou•ld .be sub-- <br /> mitted�--f.or approval .- , However-; he. noted-, that many luxury condos:: in the <br /> metropolitan area -have been constructed with-open parking ramps . <br /> -Commissioner Rana-llo- .indica.ted .he perceives--the architect could ,h-ave.: <br /> been morecreative:-in. pr-.oviding better .sheltering; , at least half way <br /> up, for a project whose residents would be- 55 and over.
