•
CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
NOTICE OF MEETING
The Planning Commission of the City of St. Anthony will meet at
8 :00 P.M. , Tuesday, April 3, 1984 in the Council Chambers in
the St. Anthony Village Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road
(enter northeast door) to consider a revised site plan regarding .
the Good Luck Cafe, located at the corner of 27th Avenue N.E.
and Coolidge Street.
Mr. Simon Kwong proposes remodeling and expanding the current
restaurant facility to a restaurant containing 2 ,440 square feet
• with seating for 84 persons. The existing canopy will be
removed and 29 parking stalls wil-1 be provided. The applicant
requests a zoning change from R-1 (Single Family Residential) to
C (.General Commercial), for the north half of his property. The
southern half is already a commercial zone. The applicant also
requests approval of a conditional use permit which is required
for the establishment or major expansion of a restaurant located
within 250 feet of a residential structure or zone. In addition,
provision of seating for .84 persons requires 39 spaces and the
applicant proposes 29 spaces, but has indicated the desire to
reduce the seating design capacity of the building to 64 seats ,
which would mean - that adequate parking is available.
Your views either for or against are welcome at this meeting, or
call the City offices with your comments prior to the meeting.
David M. Childs
City Manager
•
o,
