The <br /> new applicant proposes a non- illuminated sign approximately 25 square feet per side <br /> of ground-hugging character. The attached photo shows a sign located at 970 <br /> Osborne Road in Fridley, which would be of 'similar design, although the proposed <br /> sign would be ground mounted and would be wider than it is high rather than the <br /> tall sign pictured. <br /> ALTERNATIVES : Approve, modify, deny . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: No objections have been received, but the applicant at t i me of <br /> application was not clear about the materials to be used in the base.
