Because the land is zoned R-1 <br /> and the use is, therefore, a legal non-conforming use, the question <br /> about rebuilding if the building is destroyed by fire, etc. is of <br /> great concern to the owners and the insurance company. <br /> Page 17 of the Zoning Ordinance gives a list of the uses permitted' <br /> and conditionally permitted in a B (service/office limited business) <br /> zone. <br /> The City's comprehensive plan shows this location as service/office. <br /> No calls have been received either for or against the proposal. <br /> Because of its conformance to the comprehensive plan and the limits <br /> of a "B" Business Zone, it does not appear that this request is loaded <br /> with problems and staff can recommend its approval . <br /> • <br /> :CJK9. 20.88 <br />
