Calgon Carbon Corporation <br /> 4 <br /> 5Motion by Enrooth, second by Makowske to approve payment of $3,348.00 <br /> for the service fee for a temporary granular activated carbon system. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 9 <br /> 10 F. Dickson Electric Inc. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve payment of $3,412.00 for <br /> 13 the installation of the gasoline tank monitoring equipment and sensing <br /> 14 well probes and to install a control panel and the fee for the permit. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 17 <br /> 18 6. REPORTS <br /> 19 <br /> 20 A.Makowske advised that there had been a meeting of the Regional Transit <br /> 21 Board (RTB) scheduled for November 2nd. She had endeavored to attend but <br /> • 22 the weather and driving were poor. She noted that a discussion of the <br /> �3 service ("disservice") regarding the City of St. Anthony had been on the <br /> 24 agenda. The Assistant to the City Manager also had made an effort to attend <br /> 25 the meeting but was unable to due to poor weather conditions. She did send <br /> 26 a letter to the RTB and maps of desired bus routes as well noting the <br /> �7 Council 's concern regarding bus service. VanderHeyden did not know if there <br /> 28 will be another meeting scheduled. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 On November 15th Makowske intends to attend the meeting of the Ramsey County <br /> 31 League of Local Government as well as the Community Services Meeting. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Enrooth indicated he also will be participating in the November 15th <br /> 34 Program Review of Community Services. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Enrooth had received a use schedule for the Community Building. He observed <br /> 37 that this facility is in great demand and in perpetual use. Mayor Pro Tem <br /> 38 Ranallo noted that most of the organizations which use the building are not <br /> 39 charged for its use but there is an expense for janitorial services. He <br /> 40 suggested that the City Manager follow up on this matter and explore a fee <br /> 41 schedule for janitorial services. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Marks reminded the Council that there is a Youth Service Bureau meeting coming <br /> 44 in the near future and he feels he can no longer represent the City for this <br /> 45 organization. Previously, Makowske had expressed an interest in representing <br /> 46 the City. <br /> ® 47 <br /> 48 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to appoint Councilmember Makowske to <br /> 49 represent the City of St. Anthony at the Youth Service.
