Fisher, 5540 Schutta Road, Shoreview, MN has petitioned for an <br /> amendment to the zoning ordinance for the property at 3301 Stinson <br /> Boulevard. <br /> Mr. Fisher is requesting that the property be changed from R-3 <br /> (townhomes) to commercial so that a retail flower shop may be <br /> constructed at this location. <br /> This property was zoned commercial prior to February of 1986, when Mr. <br /> Fisher successfully petitioned to have it rezoned R-3 . However, the <br /> plans to construct townhomes at that location never developed due to <br /> slow markets. <br /> Mr. Fisher will have plans of the proposed flower shop available for the <br /> Planning Commission's review. <br /> The other three corners located at Stinson and 33rd Avenue N.E. are also <br /> zoned commercially. <br /> Staff received one letter against this request. <br /> :cjk2. 20.90 <br />
