In this case the setback of the adjacent <br /> 36 homes is 31 feet. Renner is asking for the variance because he believes <br /> 37 there is a safety problem. By extending the garage 6.5 feet forward, the <br /> 38 weight of cars will not be over a bedroom. There is question as to <br /> 39 whether hardship exists. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Public hearing was opened by Madden at 7:48. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Renner described the dwelling. Bedrooms have a south face in the <br /> 44 basement and some moisture has caused concern of cave-in in the <br /> 45 bedroom under the garage. Goal is to extend the garage six feet to avoid <br />
