ANTHONY <br />• 2 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> 3 <br /> 4 SEPTEMBER 18. 1990 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 7 led by Chairman Madden. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 ROLL CALL <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Present: Faust, Hansen, Madden, Werenicz <br /> 12 Absent: Brownell, Franzese, Murphy <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Also present: Susan VanderHeyden, Assistant to the City Manager <br /> 15 <br /> 16 AUGUST 21, 1990 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Motion by Werenicz, second by Hansen to approve the minutes of the <br /> 19 August 21, 1990 Planning Commission minutes. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Murphy and Brownell arrived at 7:33. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 COMMISSIONER FAUST TO REPRESENT PLANNING COMMISSION AT <br /> 25 SEPTEMBER 25, 1990 CITY COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Chairman Madden announced that Commissioner Werenicz attended the last <br /> 28 City Council meeting in his place. Commissioner Faust will attend the next <br /> 29 Council meeting. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> 32 <br /> 33 NEDEGAARD CONSTRUCTION FOR EVERGREEN TOWNHOMES; SIGN <br /> 34 VARIANCE REQUEST. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The hearing was opened at 7:35 with no one present reporting failure to <br /> 37 receive the notice of hearing or objecting to its content. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Assistant to the City Manager VanderHeyden reported that Nedegaard wants <br /> 40 to place one sign on each of its four monument structures. The signs are <br /> 41 within the fifty square feet sign surface allowed by the ordinance and they <br /> 42 are also well-constructed and very aesthetically pleasing to the area. Staff <br /> i43 feels it is a reasonable request. <br /> 44 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 45 <br />
