Council Reports <br /> 'v There were no reports made by the Councilmembers. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Mayor Ranallo advised that an Open House at the Fire Department is <br /> 9 scheduled for October 16th. Recalling there was limited publicity <br /> 10 for the last Open House, the Mayor inquired how residents are made <br /> 11 aware of these functions. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 The City Manager responded that he will contact the Fire Chief regarding <br /> 14 publicity. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 1 . Proclamation Declaring Crime Prevention Month <br /> 17 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the proclamation designating <br /> 18 October 1990 as Crime Prevention Month. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 21 <br /> 22 B. City Manager Report <br /> 23 The City Manager had nothing to report at this time. Proposed Election Judge List for November 6, 1990 General Election <br /> 35 MotFon by Marks, second by Makowske to approve the list of election judges <br /> 36 for the November 6, 1990 General Election as submitted by the City Clerk. <br /> 37 <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 39 <br /> 40 B. Resolution No. 90-034; Re: School District Referendum <br /> 41 Mayor Ranallo read the resolution. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Motion by Makowske , second by Wagner to approve Resolution No. 90-034; <br /> 44 a resolution regarding a levy referendum by St. Anthony/New Brighton <br /> 45 School District #,282. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Jim Zellmer, 3413 Downers Drive, requested members of the City Council to <br /> 48 actively encourage the School Board to hold a public hearing regarding this <br /> 49 Referendum. Mr . Zellmer stated he has presented some of his questions and <br /> 50 concerns about the Referendum at the "Open Mi-ke" portion of the School Board <br />
