CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The Council meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 p.m. by Mayor <br /> 11 Ranallo who led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 2 . ROLL CALL <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Council Present : Mayor Ranallo, Councilmembers Marks , En�rooth, <br /> 16 and Wagner . <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Council Absent : Fleming. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Staff Present : City Manager Burt and Management Assistant <br /> 21 Urbia <br /> 22 <br /> 23 3. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 13 , 1991 COUNCIL AGENDA <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion by Marks , second by Wagner to approve the agenda for <br /> 26 the August 13 , 1991 Council meeting with the. addition of the <br /> Wrestling Matches to be held on August 25th at 2 : 00 p.m. <br /> sponsored by Rosie ' s Restaurant . <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> 33 4 . APPROVAL OF JULY 30 , 1991 COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion by Marks , second by Wagner to approve the minutes of <br /> 36 the July 30 , 1991 Council meeting with the following <br /> 37 corrections : <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Page 3 , line 29 : Marks voted "nay" Delete "Wagner" <br /> 40 Page 6 , lines 21/22 : Delete "welcoming banner which was placed <br /> 41 across Silver Lake Road" and replace with "the signature <br /> 42 support banner which had 450 signatures that were collected at <br /> 43 Apache Shopping Center" <br /> 44 Page 10 , line 23 : Delete "Street" and replace with "Traffic" <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 47 <br /> 48 <br /> 49 SPIELMANN PRESENTATION <br /> 50 <br /> 51 Mayor Ranallo presented a framed certificate of recognition to <br /> Joe Spielmann for his earning first prize in an essay contest <br /> sponsored by the Minnesota Board of Aging. Joe wrote an essay <br /> 4 about his grandfather , Virgil Arsenault . Mr . Arsenault was in <br />
