• <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: February 7, 1994 <br /> TO: Tom Burt, City Manager <br /> FROM: Sarah Bellefuil, Management Assistant <br /> SUBJECT: SIGN ORDINANCE UPDATE <br /> At the December 21, 1993 Planning Commission meeting a presentation on ground signs was <br /> given. From this presentation, the Commission was able to see that the majority of ground signs <br /> in St. Anthony are out of compliance with the City Ordinance. <br /> From this survey, and the discussion that followed, the Commission determined that staff should <br /> update the current ordinance pertaining to ground signs. Suggestions for updating the ordinance <br /> included removing bonus points and requiring landscaping for all ground signs. <br /> • <br /> Enclosed a list of ground signs and their dimensions for your information. Also enclosed is a <br /> copy of portions of the current Sign Ordinance with additions underlined and deletions crossed <br /> out. <br /> • <br />
