CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 5 The meeting was called to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chair Bergstrom at <br /> 6 7:00 P.M. <br /> 7 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 8 . Commissioners present: Bergstrom, Makowske, Gondorchin, Horst, Faust, Franzese, and <br /> 9 Thompson. <br /> 10 Commissioners absent: None <br /> 11 Also present: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant <br /> 12 III. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 23, 1995 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES. <br /> 13 Motion by Makowske, second by Franzese,to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br /> 14 January 23, 1995 as presented. <br /> 15 Vote: 6 ayes, 0 nayes. Commissioner Faust abstained. <br /> 4P6 Motion carried. <br /> 17 IV. DESIGNATE PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO COUNCIL'S <br /> 18 MARCH 28, 1995 REGULAR MEETING. <br /> 19 Commissioner Makowske will represent the Planning Commission at the March 28, 1995 <br /> 20 Council Meeting. <br /> 21 V. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 22 A. Setback variance request for Myers Tire Supply, 3839 Chandler Drive. <br /> 23 At 7:03 P.M., Chair Bergstrom opened the public hearing for a rear setback variance request for <br /> 24 Myers Tire Supply, 3839 Chandler Drive. <br /> 25 Management Assistant Kim Moore-Sykes explained that the owner, Dane Teaman of Myers Tire <br /> 26 Supply, 3839 Chandler Drive, is requesting a rear yard setback variance to locate a utility storage <br /> 27 shed one foot from the rear property line. At the time Mr. Teaman was negotiating for the <br /> 28 purchase of the building on Chandler Drive,he was planning to store a small inventory of <br /> 29 product in the facility for distribution to wholesale customers. As a result,the owner was cited <br /> 30 for fire code violations regarding the inside storage of flammable and hazardous materials. The <br /> owner was advised by the Fire Department of a number of options by which he could provide <br /> appropriate storage accommodations for the hazardous materials. The owner felt his only option <br /> 33 was an outside utility shed. Before contacting the City,the owner took delivery of an 8' by 8' <br />
