PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 6 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve the following claims: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 A. Foster, Ojile, Wentzell & Brever in the amount of$3,000.00 for professional services <br /> 9 rendered for the month of April, 1997. <br /> 10 B. Stuart Bonniwell in the amount of$2,500.00 for professional services rendered for <br /> 11 progress billing in connection with the audit of the financial statements of the City of <br /> 12 St. Anthony for the year ended December 31, 1996. <br /> 13 C. 3 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 15 VIII. REPORTS. <br /> 16 A. Resident Testimony. <br /> 17 Anthony Kaczar, 3008 - 33rd Avenue, stated he was present this evening to express his <br /> 18 concern with regard to the City installing the tennis courts on the old City Hall property. He <br /> 19 noted the tennis courts will be located in front of his home and he requested that the City not <br /> 20 use any old parts as he was concerned with the appearance. <br /> 21 Mayor Ranallo thanked Mr. Kaczar for his concern. He noted however, that the City did <br /> 22 intend to use the equipment from the old tennis courts. Mayor suggested the court facing <br /> 23 33rd Avenue could possibly use new equipment or a shield could be installed on the exterior <br /> 24 of the tennis court. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 B. Councilmembers. <br /> 27 Councilmember Faust reported his attendance at a League of Minnesota Cities meeting on <br /> 28 April 11, 1997. A new omnibus tax bill was presented at that meeting. Faust stated he had a <br /> 29 copy of the bill and suggested Councilmembers become familiar with it. <br /> 30 Councilmember Marks reported that last Sunday the first full Orchestra event was held in the <br /> 31 great hall at the City Hall. He stated there were a number of people in attendance, the hall <br /> 32 worked well and the acoustics were good. <br /> 33 Marks reported the Sister City Committee continues to work on the visit of the Fire Brigade <br /> 34 Band from Salo, Finland this summer and the upcoming visit of the group from Gaspring a <br /> 35 year from now. <br />
