between the steps and property line, I must either remodel my home in a major way or have a <br /> door that is not able to be used. If I am unable to use this door, it becomes an inconvenience to <br /> access my back yard given the current floor plan,but more importantly it is a big safety hazard to <br /> have a door at that level without steps. If it can be accepted that this door needs to have steps to <br /> access the yard, let it be unmistakably noted that the proposed change here is more in keeping <br /> with the code than the original structure. <br />
