CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. . 5 The meeting was called to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chair Bergstrom at 6 7:02 P.M. 7 H. ROLL CALL. 8. Commissioners present: Chair Bergstrom; Commissioners Delmonico,Franzese, 9 Gondorchin,Makowske, and Thompson. 10 Commissioners absent: Commissioner Horst. 11 Also present: Kim Moore-Sykes,Management Assistant. 12 III. APPROVAL OF JUNE 18, 1996 PLANNING COMIVIISSION AGENDA. 13 Motion by Franzese, seconded by Delmonico,to approve the Planning Commission Agenda for 14 June 18, 1996 with the following changes: 15 Delete Item IV. Approval of May 20, 1996 Planning Commission Minutes. 16 Delete Item VII. B. Concept Review of Proposed Lot Split/Double.Bungalow-Bauer. 1� Motion carried unanimously. 18 V. DESIGNATE PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO JUNE 25, 1996 19 COUNCIL MEETING. -20 Chair Bergstrom was appointed as the Planning Commission representative for the Tuesday, 21 June 25, 1996, City Council meeting. 22 VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS. 23 A. St Anthony Unocal-76 24 1. Conditional Use Permit 25 Chair Bergstrom opened the public hearing at 7:03 p.m. 26 Commissioner Makowske acknowledged that he felt this was an excellent prospect for 27 expansion. He would however,refrain from voting or conversation on the issue as in the course 28 of his business dealings he did receive direct financial benefit. 29 Kim Moore-Sykes,Management Assistant reported Roger Bona, owner of the Unocal 76 Service 30 Station,2812 -27th Avenue NE, is proposing to build an addition to his existing service station 31 so that he will be able to expand his auto repair business. The purpose of the addition is to 32 increase the number of repair bays. The proposed expansion is 5,613 square feet,requiring an additional 19 parking spaces. Mr. 34 Bona is proposing to put 21 parking spaces on site and to construct 14 additional parking spaces
