I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 3 JANUARY 12, 2016 4 5 CALL TO ORDER. 6 7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 8 9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 10 11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance led by Boy 12 Scouts. 13 14 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Brever, Gray, and Jenson 15 Absent: Councilmember Stille 16 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey 17 18 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 ITEMS. 20 21 1. APPROVAL OF THE JANUARY 12, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 23 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson to approve the City 24 Council Meeting Agenda of January 12 2016 25 26 Motion carried 4 -0. 27 28 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS 29 30 A. Swearing in of Mayor Faust 31 B. Swearing in of Councilmember Gray 32 C. Swearing in of Councilmember Brever 33 34 Mayor Faust, Councilmember Gray and Councilmember Brever each read the Oath of Office. 35 36 D. Swearing in of St. Anthony Village Police Officer Dane Lazenbery 37 38 Police Chief John Ohl introduced Dane Lazenber y and his family and friends present at the 39 ceremony. There were a number of other police officers present for the swearing -in ceremony. 40 Police Chief Ohl provided a summary of Dane's background. Mayor Faust conducted the 41 swearing -in and Mr. and Mrs. Lazenbery pinned the badge on their son. Mayor Faust welcomed 42 Dane to the St. Anthony Police Department. 43 44 III.
