CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 15 -031 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR BUILDING INSPECTION <br />SERVICES WITH THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village historically has contracted their building inspection <br />services with an outside contractor; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village currently contracts with Northstar Inspection Services <br />for building inspection services where language in the contract states the contract can <br />be terminated with a 30 day notice by either party; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has explored other opportunities for building inspection services and has <br />collaborated with the City of New Brighton for these services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village and the City of New Brighton has composed a Joint <br />Powers Agreement for Building Inspection Services with the start date of May 1, 2015. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saint Anthony Village hereby <br />approves a Joint Powers Agreement for Building Inspection Services with the City of New Brighton. <br />Adopted this 24th day of March, 2015 <br />ATTEST: <br />Barbara J.
