City of St. Anthony <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />City Council Chambers <br />July 31, 2015 <br />Present: <br />Mayor & Council. Jerry Faust, Mayor; Hal Gray, Councilmember; Randy Stille, Councilmember, and Bonnie Brever, <br />Councilmember. <br />Absent: <br />Jan Jenson, Councilmember <br />Staff: <br />Mark Casey, City Manager and Shelly Rueckert, Finance Director <br />Call to Order: <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Faust at 12:30 p.m. <br />2016 Levy: <br />Staff presented a memo, charts and numerous spreadsheets. Information included levies based on liquor fund <br />available for transfers, liquor sales projections, liquor operations cash position, phase out options tools, reversals <br />of negative cash, pages from the 2015 Audit presentation, general fund components, general fund revenue and <br />expenditures. By consensus of the Mayor and City Council, staff was directed to present a preliminary levy increase <br />of $219,075 or 3.76%. <br />Channel Realignment: <br />NSCC/NSAC Executive Director Cor Wilson requested moving the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District PEG <br />programming to St. Anthony City Channel 16. By consensus of the Mayor and City Council, staff was directed to <br />inform Wilson of their approval. <br />Night to Unite Assignments: <br />Staff presented the most up to date listing and the Mayor and Council chose their assignments. <br />Former Elected Officials Briefing: <br />The Mayor, Council and staff reviewed the presentation and agenda. <br />Adjourn: <br />The meeting adjourned at 1:41 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes respectfully submitted by Mark Casey, City Manager. <br />1
