On January 27, 2016, bids <br />for the 2016 Street and Utility Improvement Project were opened. The low bid received for the project <br />was $2,060,276.95, this total does not include separate quotes received for railroad crossing and street <br />lighting improvements of approximately $154,000, for a total construction cost of approximately <br />$2,215,000. The total cost of the improvement as presented to Council when seeking approval of plans, <br />which includes engineering, legal, and administrative fees was $2,700,000 and the St. Anthony Village <br />portion of this project is anticipated to be approximately $1,465,000. <br /> <br />A Resolution Declaring the Cost to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation of Proposed Assessment <br />This resolution declares the amount to be assessed to be approximately $350,000. <br /> <br />A Resolution Calling a Hearing on the Proposed Assessment <br />This resolution sets an assessment hearing to be held on March 8, 2016 at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, I will be present at the February 9, 2016 Council Meeting to discuss those with <br />you or please call me at 763-287-7182. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Todd E.
