CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 16-023 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR NEW VOTING SYSTEM ACQUISITION AND OPERATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Ramsey County Board approved the Joint Powers Agreement with Hart Intercivic on <br />January 19, 2016; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Joint Powers Agreement is now before the City of St. Anthony and the other <br />municipalities in Ramsey County for approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The term of this agreement is for ten years, with the new voting equipment first being used <br />at the State Primary August 9, 2016; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the City of St. Anthony to <br />approve the Joint Powers Agreement for New Voting System Acquisition and Operation. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of February, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Jan Jenson, Mayor Pro-Tem <br /> <br />ATTEST:___________________________ <br /> Nicole Miller, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />Review for Administration: _________________________________________ <br /> Mark Casey, City Manager <br /> <br /> <br />63
