CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 16-028 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />FOR THE 2016 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement forbids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />I R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. <br />$2,060,276.95 <br />2 LaTour Construction, Inc. <br />$2,082,371.05 <br />3 Northdale Construction Co., Inc. <br />$2,505,601.56 <br />4 S.R. Weidema, Inc. <br />$2,651,130.34 <br />5 Park Construction Company <br />$11,402,626.55 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. of St. Cloud, MN is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $2,060,276.95 in the name of the <br />City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - <br />referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
