CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 16 -037 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT, <br />ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS, <br />FOR THE ADVANCED OXIDATION WATER TREATMENT FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, a feasibility report was prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the <br />available options to address the presence of 1,4- Dioxane (Dioxane) in the City's <br />source water, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village desires to move forward with Option 5 to <br />construct an advanced oxidation water treatment facility for the removal of <br />Dioxane, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village that: <br />1) The City receives the recommendation and findings of the St. Anthony Village 1,4 <br />Dioxane Feasibility Study. <br />2) The City orders the preparation of construction plans and specifications for the <br />construction of an Advanced Oxidation Water Treatment Facility. <br />3) The City authorizes the advertisement of bids for the Advanced Oxidation Water <br />Treatment Facility. <br />4) The City designates WSB & Associates, Inc. as the engineer for this improvement. <br />Adopted this 12`h day of Aril , 2016. <br />Jerome O.
