COMMUNICATIONS, PETITIONS AND REPORTS <br /> • Upon motion by Mayor McNulty, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it was <br /> moved to authorize the Village Manager to have a 6000 lumen street light <br /> at the intersection of Wilson Street and the alley south of 27th Ave. NE. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it <br /> was moved to deny the claim submitted by Melba P. Evanson for compensation <br /> for land taken to install Belden Drive abutting Lot 5, Block 69 Gardena Acres. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it <br /> was moved to deny the claim submitted by Melba P. Evanson for cancellation <br /> bf the assessment for Storm Sewer Improvement 1960-1A on Lot 59 Block 6, <br /> Gardena Acres. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon order by Mayor McNulty, the Park Board minutes were received 6 filed- <br /> Upon order of Mayor McNulty, the report of police activity for the month <br /> of July was received and filed. <br /> 7. 01 P i i,;?11ESS <br /> • Upon o;-der of Mayor McNulty, the Village Attorney was instructed to <br /> submit a revised copy of the Village Taxicab Ordinance No. 70 showing an <br /> adjustmont in insurance rates and rates of fare to conform with other <br /> metropolitan communities at the next regular meeting. <br />
