• <br /> VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 8, 1966 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday November 8, 1966. <br /> The following were present at roil call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Raymond Haik <br /> Village Engineer, DeWayne Olson <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson and seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was <br /> moved the minutes of the regular meeting of October 25, 1966 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr, Everett Hamilton presented the Park and Recreation Board Minutes of Nov. 30 <br /> 1966. <br /> • Ordinance #76, Tree Ordinance, was presented for second reading. After dis- <br /> cussion as to the advisability of requiring a permit, it was moved by Council- <br /> man Dougherty seconded by Mayor O 'Connor that the second reading of Ordinance <br /> #76 be approved. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> A proposed excavation Ordinance was discussed at length. The Village Attorney <br /> was instructed to review and make changes as outlined. <br /> Ordinance #77, Personnel Ordinance, was presented for first reading. The <br /> matter of receipt of gifts by employees was discussed by Councilman Dougherty. <br /> The Village Attorney expressed the opinion that the Ordinance provisions were <br /> adequate in regards to gifts. There being no further discussion, Councilman <br /> Bailey moved and seconded by Councilman Sorenson that Ordinance #77, Personnel <br /> Ordinance be approved on first reading. <br /> Votiorg on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Abstain: Springer <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
