' -4- Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved that the bids for one police car and two pick up trucks be returned to bidders and that new bids be taken, opening of bids January 10, 1967. Motion Carried. Village Attorney, Raymond Haik, discussed the hearing of Ditch #2,3,5 as held by the Rasmey County Board. He also explained in detail the request for an Attorney General 's opinion regarding the legality of the Village's participa- tion in a Mutual Aid Fire Association. The Village Manager was directed to send a letter of commendation to the St. Anthony Volunteer Fire Department for their "Firemanship" Training Program. A copy of a letter from Ronald Ekstrom RE: side walk program was received. Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seonded by Mayor O'Connor it was moved that the quit claim deed of Fred W. Odell and Frances R. Odell for a utility ease- ment across the rear five feet of Lots 1 and 2 , Block 5, Mounds View Acres Second Addition be accepted. Motion Carried. . Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved that the request for license by the Village Cafe be approved. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved that the properly verified claims be approved. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved that the bill for Planning Services as submitted by Nason, Wehrman, Knight, and Chapman Inc. in the amount of $1500.00 be approved subject to the review and approval of the Planning Board. Voting on the Motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey, Sorenson Nay: None Absent not voting: Springer Motion Carried. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved that the final engineers estimate of Layne of Minnesota for the install- ation of chemical equipment for Well #5 in the amount of $1743.44 be approved.
