VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> " COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 24, 1967 <br /> • The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock PM on Tuesday, October 24, 1967. The following <br /> were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey, Emond <br /> Absent: Springer <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Bailey that the minutes : <br /> of the regular meeting of October 10, 1967 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Curtis Englund presented the minutes of the Planning Board meeting of October <br /> 17, 1967. <br /> 'After discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey <br /> that the request of Mr. Powles, 2509 Silver Lane for a side yard variance to <br /> construct a garage addition be denied as recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey <br /> Nay: Emond <br /> Absent not voting: Springer <br /> • Mo ion Carried. <br /> A proposal for the construction of three greenhouses by Johnson Florists was <br /> discussed. Mr. Leba expressed concern over the traffic generated, parking, <br /> and type of business conducted on the premises. Since Mr. Johnson was not <br /> available to discuss the proposal the matter was tabled to November 14, 1967. <br /> Councilman Bailey moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that a 2' front <br /> yard variance be granted for the construction of an attached garage at 2816 - <br /> 32nd Avenue N.E. <br /> � Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the <br /> final approval of the Lowell plat be tabled for title examination by the <br /> Village Attorney. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 67-048 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 67-048 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY FINANCING FOR <br /> IMPROVEMENTS OF RAMSEY COUNTY DITCH #2, 3 <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br />
