• VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 22, 1968 <br /> The meting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> The following were presents O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Crouse, Emond. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the minutes <br /> of the meeting of October 8, 1968 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Curt Englund presented the minutes of the Planning Board meeting of October <br /> 15, 1968. <br /> The Council gave voice approval for the construction of a residence at 3308 Hill- <br /> dale noting that the 71.52 lot was platted previous to the 75' minimum as set <br /> forth in the building code. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the request to <br /> divide the N 1� of Lot 54, Aud. Sub. #365 be denied as recommended by the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Springer that the request <br /> of Viking Beverage to install a pylon sign be denied as recommended by the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Crouse moved to deny a heighth variance request of <br /> 41-6" for the erecting of a sign for the Hobo Drive-In. After further discussion <br /> the motion was withdrawn by Councilman Crouse with the approval of the Council. <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that a 21-6" heighth <br /> variance be granted for the erection of a roof sign for the Hobo Dirve-In. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> After considerable discussion with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bochnak regarding the pro- <br /> posed development, Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty <br /> that the request for the rezoning of Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 4, Mounds View Acres, <br /> 2nd Addition from R1 to R3 be denied as recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • A petition for the rezoning of Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 4, Mounds View Acres, 2nd <br /> Addition and a petition to vacate Block 20 Mounds View Acres, 2nd Addition as <br /> presented by Mr. 1.1. F. Bochnak were ordered filed by the Mayor. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the Planning <br /> Board be directed to hold a Zoning Hearing on the R1 zoned area adjacent to Kenzie <br />
