Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Emond that the 'Jilioc,: be directed to implement the Fire Department plan as outlined as of January 1 , 1969. Dr. Emond requested a roll call vote. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Emond, Crouse. Nay: None. Motion carried. Ordinance #79 - Code of Ordinances was next considered. Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Councilman Crouse that Ordinance #79, Code of Ordinances be adopted. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Crouse, Emond. Nay: None. • Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M. and reconvened at 9:50 P.M. All present. The consideration of an amendment to the sign ordinance was tabled to January 14, 1969. Councilman Dougherty introduced resolution No. 68-067. RESOLUTION NO. 68-067 A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1968 BUDGET. The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Crouse. Voting on the resolution: Aye : O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse. Nay: None. Resolution declared adopted. A letter from the State Highway Department re: Highway #8 storm sewer was dis- cussed and referred to the Village engineer for reply. The Council noted that the cost of the storm sewer extension from Minneapolis and the modification of the Village system, as well as engineering costs, would be borne on a participating basis by Village residents.
