ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 15, 1970 <br /> The special meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:15 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Englund <br /> Absent: Levandowski <br /> Also present: Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund that the first <br /> reading of Ordinance 1970-12, An Ordinance Relating To And Regulating The <br /> Manufacture, Storage, Handling, Use And Sale Of Explosives, be approved on first <br /> reading, substituting the Village Manager and/or the Director of Public Safety <br /> as the approving authority for permits. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Miedtke, Crouse, Emond, Englund <br /> • Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting : Levandowski <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Crouse that Ordinance <br /> 1970-13, An Ordinance Relating To Hoax Telephone Calls and Bomb Threats, be <br /> approved on first reading. <br /> Voting on the motion; <br /> Aye: Miedtke, Crouse, Emond, Englund <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Levandowski <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Mayor Miedtke that the developers <br /> of Equinox Apartments be requested to construct a berm on the East side of the <br /> exit to Silver Lane not to exceed 5' in height. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> The Council reviewed with department heads the proposed 1971 Budget for their <br /> respective departments. <br />
