ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 6, 1970 <br /> The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Miedtke, Crouse, Levandowski , Englund <br /> Absent: Emond <br /> Councilman Emond joined the meeting after roll call. <br /> Also Present: Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> Mr. Jack Meyer addressed the Council regarding fare zones as proposed by the Metro <br /> Transit Authority. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Emond that <br /> the Village Manager be directed to write a letter to the Metropolitan Transit <br /> Authority requesting that St. Anthony Village be included in fare zone #1 as <br /> recommended by the Transit Consultant and that the proposed zoning be implemented <br /> as soon as possible. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Dick Gay appeared regarding Municipal Revenue Development Bonds. After <br /> discussion, the matter was referred to the Village Attorney for review of <br /> applicable statutes. <br /> Councilman Crouse introduced Resolution #70-028A and proved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION #70-028A <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1971 BUDGET <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Emond. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Miedtke, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski, Englund <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> It was noted that Improvement Bonds of 1963 in the amount of $8159000.00 with a <br /> 1971 payment of $30,000.00 would be certified for levy by the County Auditor and <br /> that $5,400.00 would be levied for the Poor Fund. <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Englund that Mrs. Lee Stauffer <br /> and Mrs. Sylvia Siggelkow be commended for taking the time to attend the special <br /> budget meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
