-5- <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to pay the statement <br /> • from Hall, Snith, Juster, Feikema and Haskvitz in the amount of $280.00 for <br /> services for September and the first part of October, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman 6nond and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the <br /> Domestic Heating v Cooling license as requested. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the re- <br /> quest of Minneapolis Gas Company to repair a 4" gas main at 3100 36th Avenue N.E. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to pay the <br /> Certificates of the Engineer in the amounts of $2,483.11 and $455.21 for services <br /> from August 31 to September 26, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to prepare an ordinance setting forth all present <br /> and existing traffic signs in the Village and to get a report from the Public <br /> Spifety Department for their suggestions and recommendations for other signs and <br /> to present it at the November 24, 1970 meeting. <br /> . Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond directing the Village <br /> Manager to write a letter to the Director of Mediation requesting an election to <br /> make a determination as to which union will represent the Public Safety Department <br /> officers. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> There was mention of Resolution 70-029 regarding sewer improvement for the Equinox <br /> Apartments but no action was taken on it. The Village Attorney read Resolution <br /> 70-029. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund directing the <br /> Village Attorney to work with Brooklyn Center regarding the Melba Evanson case. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to pay the verified <br /> claims. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A special meeting was set for Tuesday night, November 3rd, at 9:30 P.M. at I% ache <br /> Plaza to tabulate the voting machines. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the meeting be <br /> adjourned. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
