VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 3, 1970 <br /> The Board of Canvas was called to order by the Mayor at 10:30 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Miedtke, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski , <br /> Englund. <br /> Also present : Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that the following <br /> report of the election judges, Hennepin County voting districts #1 and #2 and <br /> Ramsey County voting district #1, for the filling of two council seats be approved. <br /> Patrick Conway 398 votes <br /> Robert L. Crouse 897 votes <br /> Dr. Thomas J. Emond 837 votes <br /> Paul Loeffler 1125 votes- <br /> J.J. McCarty 318 votes <br /> Robert Sundland 905 votes-- <br /> R.L. Vorpahl 902 votes <br /> Write In 2 votes <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the plan <br /> for the remodeling of the Standard Oil Station at 37th Avenue N.E. and Silver <br /> Lake Road be approved as recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that the Village <br /> Attorney be directed to negotiate the 1969-2% insurance tax rebate with the <br /> former Volunteer Fire Department that is due and payable to the Village in the <br /> amount of approximately $4,200.00. Two-twelfths (2/12 ) to be the former <br /> Volunteer Firemen's share and ten-twelfths (10/12 ) to be the Village share.
