VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES • NOVEMRER 10, 1970 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, Englund. Absent: None Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey Village Manager, John R. Printon The following corrections on the minutes of the October 27, 1970 meeting were noted: On page 2 in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding the request of John Wakiriak, it should read "follow the recommendation" rather than "confirm the action". On page 2 in the motion by Councilman Englund regarding the request to paint a sign on the G & K building, it should read "follow the recommendation" rather than "uphold the action". Also on page 2 in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding the moving of the Northgate Motel sign, after motel sign there should be added "to the north- is orth- • east corner of their property as indipted in their request". On page 5 in the middle of the page where it was requested that the Public Safety Department give suggestions and recommendations, it should be "for traffic controls and other public safety measures" rather than "for other signs". On page 5 in the paragraph regarding Resolution 70-029, the first sentence should be deleted and after "Village Attorney read Resolution 70-029" should be added "as adopted by the Village Council at the October 6, 1970 meeting". Also on page 5 toward the bottom in the paragraph regarding the special meeting for November 3rd, it should read "certify the report of the election judges" rather than "tabulate the voting machines". Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the minutes of the October 27, 1970 meeting as corrected. Motion carried. On the minutes of the special meeting of November 3, 1970 in the motion by Council- man Crouse regarding the tax rebate with the former Volunteer Fire Department, it should read "that is possibly due". Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the • minutes of the Special Meeting of November 3, 1970 as corrected. Motion carried.
