VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 24, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, <br /> Englund. <br /> Absent: Mone <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the November 109 1970 meeting were <br /> noted: <br /> On page 5 after the motion by Councilman Crouse granting a license to Village Inn, <br /> it should show "Motion carried". <br /> In the middle of page 5, it should show Robert Dougherty of 3101 Armour Terrace <br /> and Village High "Golf" rather than "hockey". <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to approve the <br /> minutes of the November 108 1970 meeting as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Donald Kronk presented the minutes of the November 17, 1970 meeting of the <br /> Planning Board. <br /> A Mr. Ellis representing Bauer Welding & Metal Company appeared and discussed their <br /> reasons for the request of a second sign on the south wall of their building. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to follow the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Board and deny the request of Bauer Welding and <br /> Metal Company for a second sign on the south wall of their building. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Ronald Heskin appeared for Mr. Steve Coddon describing in detail their plans <br /> for building on the property on the Kenzie corner at Lawry Avenue. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to deny the request <br /> for the proposed building on the Kenzie corner at Lowry Avenue and to set a meeting <br /> for December 7, 1970 of the Council and the Planning Board in order that they can <br /> review and make a study of this whole triangle area and also of the North side of <br /> the Village which was discussed previously and to come up with some plans for the <br /> development of these areas. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Steve Coddon appeared asking if the next step he should proceed with after this <br /> December 7th meeting was to apply for a building permit. <br />
